Java API Compatibility Validator

Just waiting to start coding… cheers..

This project will describe any java package as well as compare the two

packages. It will populate all the classes in the package, describe the

classes like what all public functions as well as data members that are

declared in a specific class.

Apart from this this project will compare two packages in order to see what

all the changes happened in two packages.

The changes would be categorized

[A] at package level depicting following information
1. What all classes have been changed.
2. What all new classes have been added to the package
3. What all classes have been removed from the package.

[B] at class level depiciting following information
1. What changes have been made in the class
2. What all new member functions have been added in a class
3. What all member function have been deleted in a class
4. What all data members have been added in a class
5. What all data members have been deleted in a class
6. What all changes happened at function level as well as data members with

respect to accessibility (from the point of view of access modifiers)

[C] Member Function level
1. What all parameters are added into a function declaration
2. What all parameters are deleted from a function declaration

This tool will expose some interfaces so that it can be integrated with the any java application.

GSoC , OSCAR Application submitted !

I got some feedback from mentor regarding my application I sent him for
review, CONDOR package can also be considered for GSoC scope. I  have
incorporated his suggestions as well. it calls for few more nightouts
that I thought But it would be great fun.
Just when i was
submitting all memories from my E-Braille superbook, My embedded
project flashed to me when we all friends used to work continuously or
days and night just to see our First Braille character poping out of
our Braille Display 🙂

I should pack enough sleep to start working on Globus/Condor package for OSCAR   I have my fingers crossed as well 🙂

OSCAR GLobus package

I am planning to submit one more application to GSoC now with OSCAR my all time favourite software. 🙂  I am feeling Lucky 🙂

THe job involves everything I am intrested in and all that have inspired me so far. but it would be tough to write application for this, since it involves lot of details I can’t have in short time but I got my hands on http://oscar.openclustergroup.org/public/docs/devel/oscarpkg-howto_22jan04.pdf , bloging time end & research time starts…

Axis2/C Dynamic Client

When I first written a web service and invoked it I was enjoying every bit of it. I did it with all new Visual studio which I had access in my Lab. But I did not had any motivation to look for open source software available to continue that experience.

Some days back I wrote few programs to invoke Google web services using Axis2/c and then moved a bit further into Axis2/c architecture.

It was before GSoc 2007 was announced, and now axis2/c projects are also available with GSoc . I am going to propose Axis2/c Dynamic client which is already mentioned at Apache list of Ideas . WS-* and XML things are pretty much new to me, but I guess it will be interesting to work with it.

lets see how things scale up. 🙂
